My son asked me to speak to the Mom's of the 2 boys who were caught doing the bullying. One Mom was horrified but took appropriate action with her son, and both her son and mine play wonderfully together now.

When I spoke with the other mother, who's son was supposed to be my son's "best friend," she dismissed it as, "boys will be boys," and never even discussed the incident with her son. We decided that because the second boy was not only aggressive, but used foul language that my son was picking up, we did not tell our son not to be friendly to his "best friend" while in school, but we did stop agreeing to playdates and other activities outside of school. We also went so far as to discuss with the school principal not to have my son and this other boy in the same class next school year because my son has attention issues to begin with, and this other boy would simply just make them worse.

My question to you is: Did your husband decide to accept the "Friend" invitation on FB, knowing the circumstances?

Now I know why you are such a great Mom! We must chat someday soon!!

CaraCara Meyershttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05929269041124368708noreply@blogger.com
